We are quickly approaching the end of 2025! WOW!
And I don’t know about you, but my favorite holiday is January 1st. It’s the start of a new year with new possibilities, and the rush and bustle of the last three months is behind us. It seems like, once the kids start school in the fall, we are always in a race. On January 1st, we have a moment to breathe.

It’s a personal bucket list wish of mine for our family to spend Christmas in a warm location that involves sand, waves and Windex water…yes, the beach!! You know…a place where all we have to do is wear bathing suits, shorts, t-shirts and flip flops. No worry about gifts, no dressing up, no fitting in all the visits to all the family…just our closest loved ones gathered around, enjoying each other’s company.
That dream takes me back to my childhood when we spent all day at the beach on Christmas. The food would get prepared back at the house while we sunbathed. All sides would be prepped ahead of time, ready for us to enjoy after our day in the sun and surf. We would all play games together into the evening. It was truly idyllic!!
Throughout 2025, I saw other odes to the past in incoming trends. There was a resurgence of antiques incorporated into homes, even into more modern interiors. Cherished pieces are now displayed more boldly, too. Even sterling silver is making a comeback for serving pieces! Gasp!!! And grandmillennial design, instead of just a “trend,” is here to stay…personally, I say it will be the new “traditional.”
I looove this look back at our homes’ history, also representing where our families have been…it’s like today’s design trends give us permission to cherish the memories even more. It’s reactivating the feel and purpose of “home” as the place where memories are made and where we truly take time to experience life with each other instead of getting lost in the hustle and bustle.
In this New Year, I wish you a sense of calm, and a renewed opportunity to embrace life—and possibly a simpler one at that!! Let’s embrace 2026 for new beginnings, experiences and (more importantly) LIFE! It goes by so fast.

And looking back, I can’t help but say, it’s been such an honor to serve you all these years. I don’t think Rob ever had a vision that our company would be all that it is now, and all that it IS TO BECOME! We’ve been delighted and ever so thankful to go into another year with you!

Look for different outlooks from us as we progress into 2026. We’ll be getting back to our roots, embracing home as it should be: a place to gather, rejoice, love, celebrate, and rejuvenate!
Happy New Year!! Here’s to a very, very healthy 2026—and may it fulfill you in ways you never dreamed!
