Every year, the Texas Association of Builders (TAB) holds its prestigious Star Awards to recognize excellence in the building and remodeling industry.
The categories span the full spectrum of what builders and remodelers do. We’ve won Star Awards before, like with the full bathroom remodel forming part of this indoor-outdoor transformation in Keller, Texas.
And while most Star Awards honor a specific project, there are certain standout categories that celebrate something else: the business behind the build.
This year, we were honored with one of those very recognitions!!
So, why is that a bigger deal than our previous Star Awards?
At first glance, something like Best Website sounds like a cakewalk compared to swinging hammers and building something beautiful that literally changes a homeowner’s life. But truly, this award spotlights something MUCH deeper.
Specifically, the Best Website award reflects how a website (and the business behind it) can serve homeowners better and more completely. It’s not about logos or color palettes. We didn’t win because we hired a web designer!! This award recognizes the online experience that MATCHES the white-glove renovation experience offered in real life.
And we built both with you in mind.
This award reflects empathy and commitment…to you, user by user, and home by home.
The Backstory
For those of you who discovered us since February 2024, you wouldn’t know: our website was COMPLETELY rebuilt last year. We scrapped the previous design and sitemap. It had too much noise, and the path to the resources we offered weren’t clear.
Then, we redesigned from scratch, constructing a digital experience that gives you everything you need to move forward with confidence—whether you hire us or not!!
For example, our “contractor vs. remodeler, what’s the difference?” blog on the new website is now one of the highest-ranking in Google, viewed by several thousands of users each month.
